Welcome to Horsies! By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Service

Horsies is a mobile-first Progressive Web App (PWA) designed for horse owners and stables to manage horses, health records, events, finances, inventory, feeding, and team collaboration.

2. Accounts and User Responsibilities

• Registration: You must provide a valid email address to register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use Horsies.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

• Subscription Model: Horsies charges a subscription fee calculated per owned horse, per month.
• Free Trial: The first horse added to an account receives a 14-day free trial. Sharing access to a horse (as a rider or viewer) is always free.
• Payments: All payments are securely processed by our third-party provider, Polar (polar.sh). You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information.
• Refund Policy: All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by local law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation will prevent future charges but will not result in a retroactive refund.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the application.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to data that does not belong to you or bypass security measures.

5. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including any breach of these Terms. If your account is terminated or deleted, your data will be managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes within the application. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
