1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, email address, profile photo (optional), and authentication tokens (via Firebase Auth).
• User Content: Data you create regarding horses, events, health records, finances, and inventory.
• Usage Data: Analytical data regarding how you use the app, collected conditionally based on your active consent.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate, maintain, and provide the features of the application.
• To process payments and administer your subscriptions.
• To send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
• To analyze app usage to improve our service offerings.

3. Third-Party Data Processors

We do not sell your personal data. To provide our service, we share necessary data with trusted third-party processors, who must adhere to strict confidentiality and security protocols:

• Firebase (Google Cloud): We use Firebase for authentication, database storage (Firestore), file storage, and analytics.
• Polar: We use Polar (polar.sh) as our Merchant of Record for payment processing and subscription billing. Polar handles all payment data, tax compliance, and invoicing. We do not store your credit card information directly on our servers.
• Sentry: We use Sentry for error tracking and crash reporting to maintain app stability. Diagnostic data sent to Sentry may contain limited user context.
• Google Ads (gtag.js): On our marketing website we load Google's gtag.js to measure ad performance and conversions. It loads only after you grant consent via the cookie banner and may set advertising cookies in your browser. Until consent is granted we use Google Consent Mode v2 with all storage denied.

4. GDPR and Your Rights

If you are a resident of the European Union (or other regions with similar data protection laws), you have specific rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to Access & Portability: You can download an export of your personal data from your Profile settings.
• Right to Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): You may delete your account at any time. Deleting your account will trigger a cascade deletion of all horses you own and all related records (events, health data, expenses, etc.) across our servers.
• Right to Consent Withdrawal: You can manage or withdraw your consent for optional analytics tracking at any time using the in-app cookie preference settings.

5. Data Security

We take security seriously and utilize industry-standard practices, such as strict Firebase Security Rules, to ensure your data is accessible only by authorized individuals (owners, riders, and viewers according to your share permissions). While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
